From the Artist Statement, “This book encompasses a wide range of photographs that Nola and I found along our many walks over the past years. The photographs are all of or about people and made almost exclusively in urban areas. I find the varied aspects of humans and different cultures fascinating. For me the power of photography lies is its connection to the real world. There is a visceral connection constructed between the photograph and the viewer”.
Book contains 88 pages of photographs. See sample layouts below.
From the afterword by Steve Wood, “I didn’t know about Le Flâneur until reading and viewing this beautiful book. It’s a very satisfying and pleasing concept, even if — unfortunately for us and the hectic world we live in — it seems to belong to a different century”.
